Principal’s Message

Welcome to the 2022 – 2023 school year!  I am thrilled to welcome our students and staff back to school. Our incredible staff of educators have been in the building to prepare classrooms for the new school year. We are excited to welcome many new faces to our Trevvett Elementary family. Maude Trevvett Elementary School is such a special place to learn and grow. We are proud of our beautiful school and have high expectations for each and every student. Our students are truthful, innovative, genuine, empathic, resilient, and supportive.

This year is going to be “GREAT” as we continue to provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous, relevant and builds relationships. As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors-staff, students, and parents-are excited to be here!

Our dedicated and talented staff will be here for each of our students to meet them where they are and provide them with the tools, resources, and support they need to maximize their potential. We continue to partner with our PTO to support our school goals and to engage our families in their child’s education. Along with our focus on relationships, we are excited to continue to implement morning meetings in each of our classrooms along with a weekly Social Emotion Lesson in each class.

Our vision statements speak to what we value most at Trevvett. Making sure that our students are ready for the next step in their academic journey.  We educate and inspire a community of diverse, lifelong learners. We teach them not only the content needed to be successful in the classroom, but also life skills such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking that will serve them in our community and in life for years to come. Our vision emphasizes empowering our 5th grade students to be confident, responsible, independent learners that are middle school ready.  Our students will be confident and persevere through challenges, compassionate citizens who have strong social emotional skills and demonstrate empathy and inclusion and engaged learners who understand how to communicate their thoughts and think critically about complex issues.

Thank you for partnering with us in your child’s educational journey. We look forward to a great year!

Fondly,

Arainau Neal
